Özet (EN)

Historical bridges are an important part of cultural heritage. These structures were built to pass deep valleys, swamps and large wetlands. Since our country hosts many civilizations, there are many ancient civilizations and there are many historical bridges that reach today. In order to safely transfer these bridges to future generations, their reaction to the earthquakes must be properly evaluated. For this purpose various linear and nonlinear analysis methods are used. In this thesis study, artificial earthquake acceleration records were produced and the earthquake behavior of historical bridges was examined. Three-span historical Uzunok bridge of the Ottoman period, built in 1779 in the Darende district of Malatya province, was taken into account. The bridge is modeled with the help of the SAP2000 finite element program in three dimensions with the macro modeling method. Modal analysis was done and dynamic characteristics of the bridge were obtained. Time history analysis was used for dynamic structural response of the bridge. In these analyses, the Rayleigh damping ratio was taken as %5. 11 artificial earthquake acceleration records were used according to TBDY-2018 as a seismic effect and these acceleration records were affected from the y direction of the bridge. As a result of dynamic analysis, the displacement and stress values of the historical bridge were obtained and the seismic response of the bridge was evaluated.
