An evaluation of the curriculum applied at the Preparatory Engilish Classes of Yıldız Technical University

Thesis By carrying out this research it was aimed to enable the students, instructors, and management of the Yildiz Technical University preparatory classes evaluate the curricula applied. In order to realize this objective two questionnaires were developed; four open-ended questions constituted the students' questionnaire whereas five multiple choice questions which were based on the answers of the students, constitued the teachers' questionnaire. Based on the replies of the above-mentioned groups it was possible to evaluate the cirriculum on four different aspects. It was possible to put forward that all groups involved in the research judged the curriculum as too structural and suggested that they would prefer a more communicative one.
