Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to question the relationship between the performance parameters obtained from Yo-Yo Intermittent Recovery Test Level 1 and AnERS parameter obtained from Modified Shuttel Run Test. 12 football players in U19 team of Gençlerbirliği Sports Club were participated in this study player's mean values for height was 178,33±6,24 cm, for body weights was 72,17±5,47 kg, for body fat indexes was 9,00%±1,52% and for ages were 18±0,00. First, body hights, body weights and BFP measurements of the subjects were taken. Then, Yo-Yo Intermittent Recovery Test was implemented and then, a week later on the same day and at the same hour, Modified Shuttle Run Test was implemented. The obtained data were evaluated with SPSS 17.0 package program. Evaluation was made with Sperman Correlation Test. As a result of the study, statistically highly meaningful relation was detected between IRT1VO2max and MSRTAES (r=0,86), (p<0,05). In a similar way, statistically highly meaningful relation was detected between the Running Distance obtained from Yo-Yo Intermittent Recovery Test Level 1 and MSRTAES (r=0,86), (p<0,05). However, a statistically meaningful relation wasn't detected between MSRTAES and IRT1KAHmax data (r=0,36), (p>0,05). Considering all these data, it is presumed that the performance parameters obtained from Yo-Yo Intermittent Recovery Test Level 1 can be used in place of the AnERS parameter obtained from Modified Shuttel Run Test reliably. Key Words: Yo-Yo Test, Modified Shuttel Run Test, Anaerobic Threshold Running Speed, VO2max
