Abstract (EN)

The internet, which is the product of technological progress, has pioneered many changes and developments in daily life. This change has begun to be felt in daily life, especially with the introduction of Web 2.0, which is called the second generation internet. Web 2.0, which allows users to contribute to content and that allows them to upload content to the Internet, has enabled the creation of platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, which are called social media and offer humanity new areas of socialization. These multifunctional platforms have become an area where knowledge is produced over time, new information is acquired, and knowledge is shared. In this context, Youtube, which is also one of the most preferred platforms used to watch and share videos, is at the center of the social media dimension of these educational activities. In this respect, YouTube is considered among non-formal education and non-formal religious education institutions. In this study, it is aimed to evaluate the most popular channels that produce religious content on Youtube and the contents of these channels. 79% of our country's population uses the internet. 70.8% of these Internet users use social media. In terms of these rates, there is a need to evaluate the training conducted on Youtube, one of the social media platforms. In the research, the religious education channel with the highest number of subscribers on Youtube was examined. In this study, case study design, one of the qualitative research designs, was used. Document analysis was used while collecting the data. The data of the research were evaluated by content analysis method. The data obtained were collected under certain themes and evaluated in the conclusion and discussion section.
