Abstract (EN)

Dividend tax type which demands citizens to pay tax according to their economical power states was put into force while Ottoman tax system was beginning a new period with declaration of Reform. The notebooks in which these taxes were recorded were called dividend register.The dividend registers which have important data about the socio-economical state of 19th century period Ottoman are now in Prime Ministry Ottoman Achieve. The classification works of the dividend registers were completed in 1988 and they were put in service. These registers include taxed lands, animals, art and occupational incomes and rent incomes.
