Abstract (EN)
It is aimed to determine how good a person is at hearing, understanding what they are hearing, and locating the sounds they hear in the environment they live in with the scale indicating hearing level in adult individuals. A problem in hearing health leads to undesirable problems, causing the educator to go through difficult processes in his later age. In hearing loss, a person's attention decreases, difficulty in oral communication, memory loss, falling in work efficiency, psychological problems and distancing from social life are involved. The scale showing emotion changes has been developed to observe emotions in a short time. In order to cope with psychological problems in their social life, individuals may make some attempts and succeed or fail in accordance with the help of the people around them. In order to indicate how often the problems they experience in their professional lives are reflected in their feelings, they have the opportunity to evaluate their exhaustion status with the shortened form of the burnout scale. In a society where people coexist with burnout, all positive feelings and thoughts about their environment begin to decrease over time. This burnout can be physical as well as emotional. Emotional burnout, loss of interest in mutual relationships, decreased emotions, however, lead to a departure from social life. Materials measuring burnout levels have been developed in order to bring people who are considered to have burnout status into society and to determine burnout levels. In this study, It was made to detect hearing loss of teachers aged 25-65, to indicate the importance they give to hearing health and to determine the level of burnout. Teachers, quick couplers scale, profile of mood scale, short form and short version of the burnout scale in the profession and the emotions in the work environment, how often do you live, and comparing the effects of burnout levels of hearing loss study has been aimed at people with normal hearing. The study reached 25 participants. December 25-44 and december 45-65 were the two groups of female (n=17) and male (n=8) teachers who participated. Looking at the scale showing the level of hearing, it seems that the average of teachers with normal hearing is higher than that of teachers with hearing loss. It was found that the average of individuals with hearing loss with scale scores indicating changes in emotion was higher than the average of individuals with normal hearing. The abbreviated form scores of the burnout scale were examined according to the group variable, while people with normal hearing did not have burnout, and people with hearing loss had burnout status. A shortened version of the teacher's burnout scale can be said to indicate that people with normal hearing do not have burnout, and people with hearing loss signal danger for burnout. As a result of the scales applied to our teachers, hearing levels, emotion changes and burnout levels were determined.
