Investagating the written expression skills and identifying the vucabulary of 5th and 8th graders using hearing aid

This study deals with the written expression skills of 5th and 8th grader hearing impaired students who use a device. With the aim of determining the written expression skills of the students, the topics to be written about will be determined in accordance with the expert opinion. The aim of the study is to determine the vocabulary of the hearing impaired in written expression. Writing exercises will be assigned for this aim. Descriptive survey model will be used in the study. The data of the study will be acquired with Student Information Form, Writing Form (Writing Exercises). As for the process, the topics determined in accordance with the expert opinion will be caused to be written about. The topics determined by experts will be caused to be written about in Turkish classes every other week. Content analysis will be applied to the acquired data. Moreover, the topics caused to be written about will be assessed by two Turkish teachers and an expert in order to provide validity and reliability.
