Abstract (EN)

The game is an activity which consists of behaviors that contain all emotions, which have the purpose of having fun, set rules or develop spontaneously, enabling the child to learn by experiencing, in harmony with himself and his peers. In fact, play is an area where the child can learn the knowledge and skills that he can use in his life with fun. Since the game is a fun activity for the child, it contributes to the achievement of psychological satisfaction and helps him learn values such as self-confidence, cooperation and solidarity by using his communication skills. The game develops the child's imagination, creativity, human relations, solidarity interaction. In short, play can be said to be one of the educational methods in which the child can express himself best. This study deals with Turkish scientists. The reason why Turkish scientists are handled is; that children do not know or even know much about our scientists. As a result of the researches and observations, children have more information about foreign scientists such as Einstein, Pythagoras and Newton than the information they have learned in written and social media. However, in the same media Ibn Sina, Harezmi, Ali Kuşçu describing the Turkish scientists, including their lives are not very common information. This raises the problem that our Turkish scientists have been thrown into the background and that Turkish scientists have little recognition among children. In the teaching of history of science and technology, foreign scientists are also introduced and they are shown as role models. When historical sources are examined, we see that Turkish scientists have laid the foundations of science and technology. However, there is not enough information about the contribution of the Turks to the science and technology heritage. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare the ground for introducing Turkish scientists to children and transferring them to future generations. In order to provide these, literature searches, articles, journals, books and internet information were gathered together and the game design which is one of the most important educational materials of today's most important educational materials has been revealed. In this way, the recognition of Turkish scientists among children will increase and children will be able to have information about the subject.
