Abstract (EN)

Citrus fruits are mostly grown in Mediterranean, Aegean and partly Eastern Black Sea regions. About half of citrus fruits produced in our country are orange, about one-third of lemon, about one-fifth of mandarin, the rest are grapefruit and other species. Many pests are encountered in the production of citrus and are struggling. One of the most important of these pests is Citrus Mealybug Planococcus citri Risso (Hemiptera: Pseudococcidae). The aim of this study was to determine the rates of infestation of pests, which caused great economic losses in orange orchards in Antalya and Adana provinces, the parasitization rates and clean fruit ratios of this pest by Anagyrus pseudococci Girault (Hymoneptera: Encyrtidae) For this purpose, 2 oranges orchards from Antalya and 1 oranges orchards from Adana were selected and observations were made in 2015 and 2016. As a result, the average infestation rate of the orchards for 2015 and 2016 in the province of Antalya respectively; 28.56 16.25 and 26.55, 18.47%, and for the orchard in Adana province has been like %11.57, 7.69%. The average parasitization rates were 16.73, 11.03% and 12.83% according to the 2016 orchard order.
