The relationship between perceived family attitudes and relations, some personality traits and criminal behavior

In this research, relationship between perceived family attitudes and relations, some personality traits and criminal behavior is investigated on convicts at Maltepe L2 – type Closed Prison and some other non-criminal persons to determine whether there is a statistically significant difference. Sample for this research consists of 132 convicts in Maltepe L2-type Closed Prison and 177 other persons. Data was gathered using ABS (Antisocial Behavior Scale), LSRPS (The Levenson Self-Report Psychopathy Scale), MFAD (The McMaster Family Assessment Device) and demographic information form. In this study, written before the books, magazines, articles, master's theses, graduate projects and academic research by scanning, Beykent University thesis was written as intended.… In the data analysis, descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation, percentages, frequency) are used. To calculating means and standard deviations for each group, comparative analysis results have been gathered. As a result of analysis, relation between perceived family attitudes and relations, some personality traits and criminal behavior has been identified statistically significant.
