Burden of care of the caregivers of alzheimer's patients and relationship between burnout syndromes

The main purpose of this research is to identify the problems of Alzheimer patients' caregivers. In this study, it is aimed to examine the relationship between the burden of care of the caregivers of Alzheimer's patients and their burden level. To measure the level of burden of care Zarit's Care Burden Scale, to measure the level of burnout Maslach's Burnout Scale and to obtain the socio-demographic data of the sample group "personal information form" were used. It was reported that surveyed caregivers' "burden of care giving" level was low (35,300 ± 9,926); "emotional exhaustion" level was weak (2,365 ± 0,802); "depersonalization" level was weak (1,930 ± 0,675); "a feeling of low personal accomplishment" level was weak (2,542 ± 0,874); "general burnout" level was weak (2,330 ± 0,578).Alzheimer is not only affect the patients but also other people who has interacted with. It is suggested that investigating this disease well rounded.
