Abstract (EN)

The novel entered Arabic literature with translations from the West after the 19th century. The novel, which developed itself over time, gave different types of novels. After 1960, mystical novels were written to bring peace to people's inner worlds. This new type of novel has opened a different window to the reader by using religious, mystical and philosophical concepts. It has led the reader to understand and make sense of its existence. This thesis examines an Arab Sufi novel and reveals what this genre has brought to the Arab world. In this study the novel "Şeceratu'l-'Âbid" by 'Ammar Ali Hasan one of the pioneers of Modern Arabic Literature was analyzed. It has been observed how mysticism is reflected in the time, place, event and people that make up the structural elements of the work. The works related to the art of the novel and novel analysis methods were examined, the analyzes of the studied different Arabic novels were examined, and the Arabic thesis on the novel Şejaratu'l- Âbid was reviewed. In this novel of the author; It has been determined that it is a fictional work written with mystical discourse, it is an effective source in showing the inner world of Sufism and draws attention to the problems of Egyptian society. The research consists of introduction, two parts and conclusion. In the introduction part, information about the subject, method and purpose of the study is given. In the second part, the art of the novel, the novel in the Arabs and the mystical novel are examined in general terms. In addition, the life and literary life of 'Ammar Ali Hasan' from the Arab world were discussed. In third part, the analysis of the Şeceratu'l-'Âbid novel was made.
