Abstract (EN)
In this study, in the first period of Mutazili scholars Amr ibn Ubayd's life and theological opinions are determined and analyzed in accordance with the information obtained from the sources. Amr ibn Ubayd had an important role in the first Mutazili school. His views form the basis of the Mutazili school. Therefore, the aim of our thesis is Amr ibn Ubayd to gather theological opinions together and to draw attention to his role in the formation of Mutazili theology. Our study consists of introduction, three chapters and conclusion. In the first chapter, the life of Amr ibn Ubayd is explained in detail. In the second chapter, the scientific personality of Amr ibn Ubayd is given and especially her place in the Mutazila school is mentioned. In the third chapter, the theological ideas of Amr ibn Ubayd which is the main spine of the study, are examined.
