Analysis of Surah al-Shura in the context of main topics

Since the Qur'an was revealed depending on the different events and needs that took place in various stages of the Islamic invitation, the subjects in its content do not have a systematic structure, and as a result, sometimes even within a verse or a group of verses, the direction of the subject, speaker and address is suddenly changed. For this reason, it is necessary to examine the verses related to the same subject together in order to understand in a better way and interpret the basic subjects of the Qur'an and the world of belief and thought that it creates. The aim of this study is to examine and reveal the main topics discussed in the Qur'an and the goals that are desired to be achieved through the analysis of Surah al-Shura. In the study prepared for this purpose, it has been determined that there are four main subjects of Surah al-Shura. The verses which are in contact with these main topics have been brought together under sub-headings and the analysis of the surah has been made. In the analysis part, the contents of the verses about tawhid, prophethood, the hereafter and morality which are the main subjects of the surah, and their interpretations and evaluations in classical and recent tafsir studies are emphasized, thus the basic principles and objectives of the surah are revealed. The findings obtained from all these are included in the conclusion part of the study and it has been seen that the surah can be considered as a summary of the Qur'an in terms of its main topics.
