An examination of the qur'an from the Nevşehiri Damad İbrahim Paşa collection at Ankara National Library in terms of administration

The Qur'an was selected among the manuscripts in the Damad İbrahim Pasha collection in the Ankara National Library and examined in terms of decoration. In the first part of the thesis, information about the manuscript and the decoration of the Qur'an is given, and in the second part, information about the definition and history of the art of illumination is given. In the third part, the Qur'an with inventory number 50_Damad_1, 50_Damad_2, 50_Damad_3, 50_Damad_5, 50_Damad_7, 50_Damad_754, 50_Damad_815 in Nevşehirli Damad İbrahim Pasha collection in Ankara National Library were examined in terms of decoration. Evaluations were made about the understanding of color, motif features and pattern understanding in the decoration of these Qur'an.
