Interrogative preposition in Arabic language

ABSTRAKT Interrogative is the request of understanding. It is defined as; asking question by some special prepositiuns for knowing something. Interrogative prepositions are question words that comes at the beginning of clauses and shows the will of getting information about anything. There are eleven interrogative prepositions, two of which are letters and nine of which are nouns. Hemze, which is one of the interrogative prepositions, according to some linguists, is the origin of interrogative prepositions. Interrogative prepositions are the followings: ft C C ft c. Interrogative prepositions which are letters do not have function in syntax. The other nouns can be merfu, mansub and mecrur just as other nouns. Yet as they must be at the beginning of clauses generally they come before their factors. Interrogative sometimes may have different meanings apart from their original meanings. By interrogative clauses used figuratively for different sense, the purpose is not getting information for something not known before but some other sense according tu context.
