Abstract (EN)
This study, which is titled "Will and Human Problem in terms of Arthur Schopenhauer and Nurettin Topçu", has compared the both mentioned philosophers' philosophy systems and their will and human considerations in these systems. In Schopenhauer philosophy, as blind will, which is causeless and aimless, the will is cause and dynamic power of existence. The will has appeared itself as being object in nature and human. The will is cause of pain, misery and malignancy in world. Because the will as a unexhausted and unsaturated desire has determined all existential, wanted to protection of species instead of individual and surrounded to human by necessities like pain, love and boredom. The life is captivity of will. The best way for human is to deny will; to kill will at himself in the context of art, mercy and ascetic living quarters; and to reach absolute painlessness of Nirvana from the life full of pain. Nurettin Topçu has criticized, as well as benefited Schopenhauer's will consideration. According to him, Schopenhauer is right to rise against to will, however he is wrong on offering taking cover to nullity for human as salvation as a result. According to Topçu, every action is aspiration for dreamier and every riot has to put new system counter to rioted system. In the philosophy of Topçu the will's source is eternity and desire eternity; human should seek to reach eternity by participating in absolute will in the fields respectively himself, family, society, state, humanity. The real revolt that is not to deny of will, even to want universal and eternity by raise it up step by step. Schopenhauer has missed will's eternity dimension and dragged human into nullity by denying will. However, as taking its resource from eternity the will is a message and participating must experience it. Although the will is resource of malignity and salvation is possible only denying it in Schopenhauer's philosophy, it's opportunity and universal system to reach eternity instead of nullity in Topçu's philosophy.
