Ukraine-Russia to the energy supply security of the European Uniona new look in the framework of war

The aim of the study is to examine the effects of the Ukraine-Russia war on EU energy supply security and the policies that the EU has created or will form to get rid of this crisis. Russia is weakening the EU's energy strategy by using the contradiction between supply security and supply diversity, which are the main priorities of the EU's energy strategy. Russia, emphasizing the importance of supply security for the European Union, also pushes EU supported energy projects developed for supply diversification to failure. As Russia is the main natural gas supplier to Europe, it is understood that the EU will always maintain its position in the energy field. The disadvantages of the EU's energy dependence on Russia are manifested in the Ukraine-Russia War, which started on February 24, 2022 and continues today. Rising energy prices and energy supply problems are pushing EU countries into a difficult situation. In this respect, the use of energy resources and future plans of EU countries come to the fore more in this period. The war and climate, which constitutes a large part of the current international conjuncture, reveal that EU countries need to be more courageous and determined on green energy. In this respect, Germany's policy of transition to green energy, which has been implemented in a planned manner for a long time, plays an important role in eliminating environmental risks on the one hand and reducing geopolitical risks on the other
