Abstract (EN)

Objective: This study was conducted to determine the morphological and morphometric species of plant parasitic nematodes found in fig (Ficus carica L.), chestnut (Castanea sativa Mill.) and olive (Olea europaea L.) orchards in Aydın province. Material and Methods: A total of 212 samples were taken from 64 fig, 52 chestnut and 96 olive orchards throughout the province (Aydın, Türkiye). "Improved Baerman Funnel" method was used to obtain plant parasitic nematodes from soil samples and "Fenwick can" method was used to obtain cyst form nematodes and permanent preparations of the obtained nematodes were prepared for species identification. Results: In the study, Tylenchina and Hoplolaimoidae belonging to the orders Tylenchida, Dorylaimida and Aphelenchida, Aphelenchina, Anguinoidea, Tylenchuloidea, Tylenchuloidea, Hoplolaimoidea, Dolichoroidea, Aphelenchoidea and Longidoridae of the suborder of Dorylaimina were determined 9 species belonging to 8 subfamilies, 8 subfamilies, 8 subfamilies. Species identified in the study; Ditylenchus dipsaci, Paratylenchus (P.) projectus, P. (Gracilacus) latescens, Coslenchus diversus, Helicotylenchus digonicus, H. multicinctus, Scutylenchus tartuensis, Aphelenchus avenae and Xiphinema pachtaicum. Also one species belonging to Heterodera (cyst nematodes) genus. Conclusion: Ditylenchus dipsaci, Paratylenchus (P.) projectus, Scutylenchus tartuensis, Heterodera sp. in fig orchards, P. (Gracilacus) latescens, Coslenchus diversus, Helicotylenchus digonicus, H. multicinctusiwere detected in olive orchards, A. avenae ve X. pachtaicum were detected from both fig and olive groves. Plant parasitic nematodes weren't detected in chestnut orchards. D. dipsaci, P. (P.) projectus and S. tartuensis in fig and P. (G.) latescens in olive are new records. Keywords: Plant Parasitic Nematoda, Nematoda, Castanea sativa, Ficus carica, Olea europaea
