Abstract (EN)

Bektashism had the most importent event of its history in 1826. The sect, which was forbidden with the whole corps of the Janisasary forces, was declared unjust (illegal) in the consultation assembly for the problems related to beliefs. A few Bektashis who supported Janissary rebellion was sentenced to death, inconvenient ones for their beliefs were exiled to places where the ulema class densily are. Bektashis were forced to follow suni line and central lodge and big and important lodges were given to controlling of nakshi sheiks. Bektashi lodges were closed down and their belongings were taken. They were either rented or sold and the money was given to public treasury. Tombs of derwish lodges weren?t touched. During forbidden years, Bektashis hid their beliefs and went on their lives in the names of other sects. However, with the becoming lighter of stress on them, Bektashism began the activities in the course of time. During Sultan Abdulazız? period they became completely free and they opened derwish lodges (which were closed down in 1826) reconstructed them in Istanbul, the Trace, Anatolia, Egypt and Baghdad. Although all their efforts and enterprises, they couldn?t get formal permission and they went on activities in a forbidden way. This work is about forbidding duration of Bektashism and developing events during this time. It also follows the derwish sects which were forbidden, closed down and freed. ?What happened in derwish sects, Bektashis? precautions against government?s strict decisions? are also explained in this work.
