In this study, it was aimed to examine the relationships between cognitive flexibility, ways of coping and perceived stress and to create a meaningful model that examines the mediating effect of ways of coping in the relationships between cognitive flexibility and perceived stress. The model created for this purpose has been tested. The study group consisted of a total of 383 individuals (female total n: 252; male total n: 131) aged between 18 and 58, selected by convenient accidental/easily accesible sampling method and reached through various social media channels. For the the data analysis, Pearson Product-Moment Correlation Analysis was used to examine the relationships between variables, T-test was used to examine the relationships between gender and variables, and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique was used to test the designed model. Data analysis was done using SPSS 23 and AMOS 22 programs. As a result of the research, significant relationships were found between cognitive flexibility and both peceived stress and coping styles. It has been concluded that coping styles have a full mediator role in the relationship between cognitive flexibility and perceived stress. The research findings were evaluated in the relevant literature and suggestions were made for future studies. Keywords: Cognitive flexibility, percevied stress, ways of coping, mediating role.
