Second track diplomacy as a peace building teknique

One of the quotes on how catastrophic the wars can be is cited to Albert Einstein. Einstein mentions that "I don't know which weapons will be used in World War Three, however, World War Four will be conducted with stones and sticks." Even though we currently don't call it World War Three, a conflict takes place in every corner of the world regardless of North or South, East or West. This situation requires us to facilitate the peace much more than ever. Just because of the fact that peace has been so crucial, all of the steps taken for the purpose of peace will be a milestone in this effort. This work contributes to the approach which defends that when the fighting societies are supported, their social agreement will be boosted and common future will be built. A peaceful transformation from the individual in micro level to society in macro level in the domain of conflict resolution is aimed with this approach called Second Track Diplomacy. This work has sought for the answers of these questions: "Is Second Track Diplomacy able to make this aim achievable? Can peaceful change in the society be accomplished with dialog method? What are the particularly significant steps of the methods employed in Second Track Diplomacy to reach the most efficient outcomes?" and the issue has been analyzed with the help of secondary sources.
