Abstract (EN)
Organisations need to have qualified employees in order to gain competitive advantage. Qualified employees are individuals who are well aware of their personal characteristics and who determine what the most appropriate job is and make career planning accordingly. The job satisfaction of the individuals who do the most appropriate job and career planning is also high. Therefore, there is a relationship between personality traits, career planning and job satisfaction. In this thesis, the effects of female policemen working in the Istanbul Police Department on Career Planning and the impact of career planning on job satisfaction were investigated. 110 female policemen participated in the study and quantitative data collected from the participants were analyzed statistically. It has been determined that individuals who are well aware of their personality traits are making career planning right and that their work has a positive effect on job satisfaction. It was determined that the demographic characteristics of the participants had an impact on career planning, that the demographic characteristics had an impact on the general satisfaction of the policemen, that the police had a meaningful relationship between personal characteristics and career planning, and that the personal characteristics had an impact on general, internal and external satisfaction.
