Abstract (EN)

İn this study which named "Bishr al-Hâfî and His Place İn The Sciences of Hadith", it has been analyzed the life of Bishr al-Hâfî who borned in Horosan's Merv City in the half of the second century of the Hijra, and his place in the science of hadisth. Bishr al-Hâfî Who spent his life to get knowledge and worship, is a muhaddith who disguished as a sufis. İn the fist chapter of this study which consist of two parts and an introduction, it has been handled, in a nutshel, the political, cultural, scientific and economical situation of Abbasids who keep control of administration of islamic geography. Furthermore, in the same chapter, it has been handled his life, reclusion, his spiritual and scientific personality. İn the second chapter which constitutes the main of this study, it has been put forth the identity of Bishr al-Hâfî as a traditionist by handling of topics we could detected like his opinion towards the hadith, some of his comments about the methodology of prophetic trafition, distancing from narrating hadith, journeys to colletct hadiths, his destruction of own boks, his teachers and students, journeys to colletct hadiths, his criticims nad praise statue, marfu' and mawquf narrations etc.
