Abstract (EN)
From the moment people cling to life, art, which moves with it, has e xperienced periodic changes by being affected by social processes. When we look at the world art history, these transformations were recorded in the center of the West and the adventure of art was conveyed with a western focus. When we look at the world with a holistic approach, it is observed that human life has a different course in the east than in the west. It is an undoubted fact that art also follows different paths in the east and west lines, which vary from management styles to human survival solutions. It was an inevitable choice to e xamine the process of western art and eastern art that emerged from this point of view, and to put China in the center as it is the oldest civilization of humanity. The question of how was the process of art in China, where conceptual art in the sense of the modern period, Postmodern period and contemporary arts in the West preserves the current, is important in terms of world art history. The facts that China was ruled by a feudal government at first and then transitioned to communism, the process of the Cultural Revolution, the high population and culture, the density of belief forms and being an important commercial center from the past to the present, the importance of craft, the superiority of philosophy and calligraphy are the facts of China. He also played a major role in the development and transformation of art. When all these conditions are evaluated together, it has been determined that art in China is a fertile area to develop. Understanding the periods in which Traditional Chinese Art flourished is to follow its main points, technique, philosophy, lifestyle and scientific developments of the period. In this sense, the interval from the starting point of Chinese history to the period of the People's Republic of China is devoted to understanding Traditional Chinese Art and established classical Chinese art. Between the establishment of the People's Republic of China and the Cultural Revolution, the Social Realistic Art Concept adopted in China, the Craft Concept in the conte xt of Calendar Pictures, and Posters were evaluated. When it comes to the Cultural Revolution and today's world, it is observed that the Independent Contemporary Chinese Art has developed. Especially with the 20th century, it has become widespread with many avant-garde groups and groups adopting the Dada point of view, where the understanding of art coming from the west is a great curiosity in China. 85 New Wave Movement, Northern Art Group, Xiamen Dada Group emerged within the Chinese Avant-Garde, and right after that, Art in the Age, which was rooted in China, declared its e xistence with the China/Avant-Garde E xhibition. Chinese artists, who are among the founders and members of the group, have also signed individual conceptual works. When these emerging works are e xamined, it has been determined that Chinese artists are the founding figures of Independent Contemporary Chinese Art by channeling Postmodernism with their own culture and traditional Chinese art.
