Abstract (EN)

Burnout is desensitization of employees against clients, to feel emotionally exhausted and reduced feelings of personal accomplishment refers to the status. Of job satisfaction, joy and happiness in general, refers to the individual's working life. The objective of this research is to decide the burnout and job satisfaction level and to determine the variables which affect exhaustion and job satisfaction. Thereby as a result of the indicators obtained, at the same time to provide reducing the burnout level and increasing the job satisfaction for the nurses who are the health workers, is aimed. In this study, the concepts of individual and institutional dimensions of burnout and job satisfaction were examined. To combat burnout and job satisfaction to improve the working methods and be followed by the institution have been introduced. Nurses working in Alanya State Hospital were examined in burnout and job satisfaction by demographic variables. Research on the "demographic characteristics, the Maslach Burnout Inventory and Job Satisfaction Scale" is used. As a result, young workers, those who are unmarried, without children, and those with less years of occupation have much burnout. Depending on the age variable, it is seen the level of job satisfaction increases, also is found to be higher levels of job satisfaction on the married, having children and experienced nurses.
