Abstract (EN)
In this studying, main targets are to determine personal, organizational, environmental stress factors related with health workers working in the public hospitals, and to search its effect on health services, and to produce suggestions for solving problems. Health worker is directly affected by personal, environmental, organizational stress factors .Stress is found at each stage of life. Short-term effects of stress is corrected by removing the cause of an event. However, long-term stress is life threatening. Besides, it produce psychological and physiological permanent damage. Stress results in orientation in individuals toward substance use, occupational accidents, professional errors. Stress experienced in optimum level increases performance and motivation of individuals. In the health sector, personal goals overlapping with corporate objectives increase the quality of services. Therefore, determination of effect on organizational stress and its elimination is important. Job satisfaction, motivation, and performance-enhancing tools should be used in the realization of corporate goals and in persistence of holistic health services. In the first part of the study, scope and definition of stress, its symptoms; its individual, organizational and environmental factors is mentioned. In the second part, individual and organizational consequences of stress have been discussed. In the study, it has been benefited from searching literature, personal observations and occupational experience. In the last part, it has been based on the organizational effects of stress. Furthermore, it has been focused on organizational outcomes. Cause of stress related with nature of work, cause of stress arising from interpersonal relationship, cause of stress resulting from organizational structure had been found primarily reason of stress in basis of organizational stress.
