Abstract (EN)
This study investigated the glass ceiling syndrome, and organizational commitment, and the concept of the glass ceiling by an application in order to determine the effect on organizational commitment. Additionally, the relationship between the sub-dimensions of organizational commitment and glass ceiling concept is analyzed. Moreover, it is searced to observe whether there is difference between these dimensions and demographic variables. The sample for this part of this study is composed of 46 women employee working at two private companies which operate in Kütahya. As an experimental tool surveys are used for data collection. The data obtained through research are analyzed via SPSS tool and the data is evaluated by frequency analysis, reliability test, T-test, ANOVA test, correlation and regression analysis. According to the research results, the employee exposed to the glass ceiling syndrome decreases the level of organizational commitment.
