A critial and analytical evaluation related to Mongols section in jami'-al-Tawarikh-i Hasani

In our this thesis; we briefly talk about the science of history, Iranian historian and poet Ibn shahab and a part of his work, Jami' al-tawarikh which about history and finished in 740/1340. In the preface section; we gave general information about the content. In the introduction chapter, we briefly talk about occurring the science of history and the development of the Islamic world in the Middle Ages. We divided it into two parts. In the first chapter; We gave information about Ibn Shahab's life and his works. Jami' al-tawarikh is an important and useful work both in terms of content and simple and understandable wording, and we gave detailed information about this work. In the second chapter; we made a translation for the seventh part of the sixth section of the work aobut the Mongols. To explain the expressions that are difficult to understand, various references were used. Finally we understood; generally Jami' al-tawarikh not only talks about the science of history, but also Jami' al-tawarikh is a valuable work which include politics, cultural, social and historical information. Jami' al-tawarikh has an important position among the works about history which were written in the 15th century. Ibn Shahab is one of the most reputable scholars of the Timurid period of Islamic history.
