Examination of graduate thesis in algebra learning: turkey sample between 2010-2018

The aim of the study is to draw a general framework for the studies in the field of algebra learning and to shed light on the researchers who will study in the future by finding the gaps that are felt and the deficiencies in this field and to enable the researchers to concentrate on these areas. This research is a field survey and content analysis was used in the analysis of the data. For this purpose, between 2010-2018, 65 graduate theses were taken into the scope of research from the National thesis search Center and these theses were examined. "Dissertations review form in the field of Algebra learning" was used as a data collection tool. According to this form, theses were examined according to universities, years, types of theses, sub-learning area of algebra, purpose, Method, pattern, study group, number of samples, data collection tools and the property they measured. According to the results of the findings from the research: Atatürk University more than the University, theses and MSc theses and more than the years 2017 2012,2016 the most common type. It was concluded that theses were mostly done in the "Equality and equation" sub-learning area, using mixed method and experimental pattern. It was determined that the most measured characteristic with these methods was 'student achievement'
