Determination of copeptin and its relation with some biochemical variables for type 2 diabetes mellitus patients

The main aim of the present study is to determine the level of the copeptin hormone in the sera of type 2 diabetic patients, purification of the copeptin hormone from type 2 diabetes patients' serum, and examine the association between variations linked to Copeptin Disease. The plasma copeptin is one of the important tests that may have a role in diagnosing or identifying the causes of diseases that may help increase the incidence of diabetes, especially type 2 diabetes. In our study, the association between age and type 2 diabetes was high, as was the association with plasma copeptin. Which indicates the role of plasma copeptin in type 2 diabetes. It has been found according to the present study that the increase of plasma copeptin concentrations depends on a DR and VDTR marker in Chinese T2DM patients, indicating that copeptin may play a role in the pathophysiology of DR problems.
