Di̇yarbakir Assyri̇an Anci̇ent Vi̇rgi̇n Mary Church

Diyarbakır Assyrian Ancient Virgin Mary Church, which has an important place in Antakya Assyrian Ancient Church and is one of the oldest churches in South-eastern Anatolia, continues its presence livingly from past to present. In the historical process, sometimes according to the population of Assyrian Congregation and sometimes in accordance with the decision of the religious, this church undertaken the role either patriarchate or Metropolitan. Today, even if it does not play any active role in Assyrian congregation like in the past, Diyarbakır Assyrian Ancient Virgin Mary Church still remains as an important center of attraction from past to the present for the Assyrian congregation both in Diyarbakır and the whole World.
