Abstract (EN)
In this study, it is aim to determine the effect of different fruit pulps which are added to silage of leaves of Brant's Oak and Gall Oak in the quality of silage. Leaves of gall oak and Brant's Oak which were collected in the forest located in Eğil and Dicle, district of Diyarbakır put in the 5-liter plastic boxes to make silage. In this research, two different trees' leaves, two different fruit pulp (apple and grape) were kept waiting as three replications control groups in 60 days and were evaluated quality of silage value. After making silage, it was focused on the physical (color, smell, structure) and chemical (mouisture, crude ash, organic matter, crude protein, ADF, NDF, pH, Fleigh's score and relative feed value) features. Also, with the value of tannin as macro and micro elements' chemical analysis. Differences between groups in physical evaluation of silage and fleigh score was not determined and each of four silage are good quality. In terms of dry matter value, in the silage of Quercus brantii+grape pulp, Quercus brantii+ apple pulp, Quercus infectoria+apple pulp and Quercus infectoria+grape pulp avarage values are respectively are 55.31%, 54.11%, 53.40% and 53.07%. pH value in Oak Gill is lower than Oak. Avarage pH value of Quercus infectoria+apple pulp is 4.31 and average pH value of Quercus infectoria+grape pulp is 4.42 . It is found that pH value in the silage of Quercus brantii+apple pulp is 4.48 and value in the silage of Quercus brantii+grape pulp is 4.61 . In terms of crude protein, the average value of Gall Oak is higher than Brant's Oak. The highest value of Quercus infectoria+grape pulp in 5% supplementary practice is 6.38%, the highest value of Quercus brantii+grape is 6.46%. With regards to quantity of ether extract, organic matter, dry matter, ADF, NDF, Na, Mg, Ca, Fe, Mn and Cr average value of Oak is higher than average value of Oak Gill. However, in terms of the quantity of crude ash, DDM, RFV, tannin, K, Ni, Cu, Se, Cd and Pb average value of gall oak is higher than average value of Brant's Oak. Consequently, Gall oak is more preferable than Brant's oak in terms of its pH, fleig point, crude ash, organic matter, crude protein, DDM, RFV, macro and micro element contents. Besides all these, it is reached the conclusion that apple as a fruit pulp can be added in these type of silages so as to be at the desired levels in terms of pH, lactic acid, ADF, NDF, RFV, tannin, macro and micro elements. Keywords: Brant's Oak, Gall Oak, Silage, Quality, pH, Lactic Acid, Crude Protein, ADF, NDF, Tannin
