Abstract (EN)
Organizational commitment has been regarded as individual?s identification with the organization s/he is in, adoption, showing sacrifices for organizational purposes and exerting efforts to remain a member of the organization. However, job satisfaction is regarded as individual?s attitude toward his/her work.The staff (N=372) of four and five star hotel industries, which benefit from outsources in Ankara, have participated in this research which examines the level of job satisfaction and organizational commitment of the staff (the personnel of hotel?s own and subcontractor) working for the hotel industries which benefit from outsources.The fundamental objective of the research is to determine the same situation or the differences between the level of organizational commitment and job satisfaction of the hotel?s own staff and subcontractor?s staff. Data has been collected with a questionnaire prepared for this purpose and assessed by using SPSS 11 computer program. Frequency analysis of data has been done. Kruskal-Wallis test, which is one of the non-parametric tests, has been applied in order to determine the differences between the level of job satisfaction and organizational commitment of the staff. As a result of this test, statistical differences have been observed in the levels of job satisfaction and emotional and attending loyalty between hotel?s own staff and subcontractor?s staff. It has been determined that there is not a statistical difference in their level of normative commitment. In addition to this, the relationship between the levels of job satisfaction and organizational commitment of the staff has been observed and as a result, it has been determined that the ones whose job satisfaction is higher have also positive trend in organizational commitment affiliations.Key Word: the usage of outsource, organizational commitment, job satisfaction, subcontractor
