An examination of physical education and sports teachers' professional satisfaction and teaching motivation in terms of some variables

In this study, it was aimed to examine the effects of people who come to sports centers for regular exercise on some Physical fitness parameters and Life satisfaction the research was carried out on male and female individuals who are members of the Healthy Living and Sports centers in Gaziantep province, Şehitkamil Region. For the research, a sixteen-week (3 days a week) regular exercise program was applied to the experimental group consisting of a total of 100 people, including the same number of female and male members. For analyzes, it was analyzed in SPSS 23 program and p <0.005 significance level was chosen. Physical fitness parameter measurements (BMI-balance) were taken to the research group. Descriptive statistics of the data obtained from the study are given by frequency and percentage analysis for categorical variables. McNemar-Bowker test was used to compare categorically obtained BMI, Flamingo balance test pre-test / post-test results, and paired t-test was used for pre-test / post-test comparison of life satisfaction values. As a result of the study, there was a statistically significant difference between the Flamingo balance test and BMI pre-test / post-test values, At the same time, there was no significant difference in the life satisfaction of the participants between the pre-test / post-test, and repeated measurements in the comparison of life satisfaction and gender and sports status. Analysis of variance was used and statistically significant differences were found in the interaction of life satisfaction, gender and previous sports status pre-test / post-test measures.
