Abstract (EN)
Throughout history, people have been searched the nature of God which is believed to exist. Particular in Religion Islam, Muslims tried to understand how Allah is and his attributes according to Allah's essence, attributes and acts in Qur'an and Hadiths. But these attributes of Allah which aren't accessible to human observation, has been explained in Qur'an and in other holy books in an indirect manner by defining the unknown starting from the known. Since the essence, attributes and acts of Allah are shown indirectly with symbols and representative expressions in the Nass', problems arose while understanding these words. Since they just based on the apparent meanings of the words istiwa on the arsh, yed, ayn, wech, saach, ittyaan, meji etc, which are decribed as reported attributes, groups like Mushabbiha and Mucassima who ascribe to Allah a place and likening him to something, stumbled in tacseem and tashbeh. Though there has been kalam schools which try to understand these wordings with an holistic view and approach to the Qur'an via language properties and rational inference, which try to understand by the tawhid concept and which form majority who interpret wordings, expressing tashbeh and tacseem, in this direction. In this thesis work we evaluated how the idea of tashbeh and tacseem emerged and the attitudes against it in a general framework. We tackled the subject of criticism of the idea of tashbeh and tacseem and issue of the reported attributes according to Abu al-Muîn al-Nasafi' s views, notably in his Works; Tabsirat al-Adilla fî Usûli'd-Dîn, Bahr al-Kalam fî İlmî'd Tevhid and et-Temhid li Qavaid't- Tevhid. In this paper we observed that Abu al-Muîn al-Nasafi deals issues with tawhid understanding in the unity of Qur'an with a manner not reaching to extremely tenzih based opinion (Ta'til) and far from tashbeh and tacseem by combining rational and reported evidences while observing reported attributes starting from semantic method. We observed that Abu al-Muîn al-Nasafi utilised language properties ideally in addition to optimising rational and reported evidences. We saw in this research the contributions of semantic method to Islamic Theology. Additionally, despite the fact that Abu al-Muîn al-Nasafi used complicated language in his Works and discussed subjects difficult to explain, his method of handling issues in dialogues with other theological schools makes the reader follow the subject attentively without getting bored. Key Words: Abu al-Muîn al-Nasafi, Tashbeh, Tacseem, Reported Attributes.
