Abstract (EN)
This study consist of four parts. In the first part, the definition of literary journalism and its features were explained. In this part, information was given on literary journalism and its development in some countries around the world. In the second part, American journalism and American literary journalism were described. In the third part, both content analysis method was explained and the introductory information about the nine features of literary journalism were provided. In the fourt part, respectively works of Upton Sinclair's The Jungle, Gay Talese's Thy Neighbor's Wife and Truman Capote's In Cold Blood were analyzed according to nine characteristics of literary journalism. In the conclusion, this three texts were compared with each other. The study was completed with the conclusion section. As a result of the analyzes, it was determined that all three works were suitable for literary journalism. In the conclusion part of the study, similar and different aspects of literary journalism were determined by comparing the works.
