In this study, it was planned to examine the morphological changes of blood cells by extra corporeal circulation with peripherial blood smear under light microscope. This research was conducted on 33 patients of different ages who had cardiopulmoner bypass surgery. Those patients had been diagnosed on Dursun Odabası Medical Center of the University of Van Yuzuncu Yıl and they were been under control of the Cardiovasculer Surgery Depertmant. The healing process of the whole blood cells was observed. The effects of the operation duration the cross clamp period, the amaount of erythrocyte suspension and fresh frozen plasma, the type of the condition, the hemofiltration and the value of ejection on the formed elements of blood were determined. The values of the Peripherial Blood Smear were evaluated wing light microcope a Hb, Hct and Wbc values were compaired with hemogram. The values were analysed with regards to the World Healt Organisation's criteria. Staticstically significant differences were observed.
