Comparison of Al-Arabbiyyatu Bayna Yadayk and Silsilatu'l-Lisan in four basic language skills

How should be a good foreign language teaching book? It has been a subject of discuss for a long years. Thus, it has been used and various methods have been developed over time. The methods and their basic principles on foreign language teaching should be taken into account and selected for students to achieve the aim of this training in a quicker and reliable way. It was investigated what methods are in our study. With four basic language skills, we was contributed to Arabic language learning and teaching in our country by trying to find how the Arabic language teaching should be. Thesis consists of introduction, two parts and the result. In the introduction, the relationship with Arabian community and Arabic language, in general foreign language teaching, in particular is taught the teaching of Arabic as a foreign language. In the first part of the thesis, approaches and methods in foreign language teaching are mentioned. In the second part of the thesis, listening, oral expression (talking), reading and written expression (writing), which are four basic language skills in foreign language teaching, are included and formed criteria related with them. In addition, Al-Arabiyyatu Bayna Yadayk and Silsilatu'l-Lisan language teaching sets were compared and evaluated in terms of four basic language teaching skills.
