Abstract (EN)

The improvement of computer and communication technologies has profoundly effected our economic and social life. Small and Medium sized enterprises have also had the opportunity to transform their process into digital environment with the widespread computer using. Commercial activities essantially require an effective communication environment by which the sides can express their demands and supplies. The most important effect of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) on commercial activities is removing the physical environment needs in trade. Especially businesses in developing countries that have the export capacity are the first that should evaluate how they can take advantage of electronic commerce.The study in which we?ll examine the effects of e-commerce on SME?s export capacitiy, consists of four main parts. In the first part we?ll examine the e-commerce concept in general. In the second part small - and medium sized enterprisess and their export capacity will be examined. The comparative usage of information and communication technologies in the world will be examined in the third part of the study. In the last part we?ll analyse the results of the questionnaire survey investigating the effects of the e-commerce on SME?s domestic and foreign sells.Key Words: E-Commerce, SME?s, Export, E-Marketplace
