With the example of Elisha ben Abuyah, the issue of blasphemy, which is accepted as one of the important discussion and talking points in the Jewish society, is tried to be handled with its religious, ethical and philosophical dimensions. The thesis aims to analyze Elisha ben Abuyah's acts of blasphemy and their impact on religious thought. In the thesis, Elisha ben Abuyah's life and teachings are presented in a general way, and his acts that are considered blasphemous are discussed, and as a result, how these acts are perceived in the Jewish society is examined.
