Association of early cleavage evaluation with intracytoplasmic sperm injection results

Infertility is described as not to become pregnant though having regular and exposed sex. Assisted reproductive techniques are the ways to have pregnancy that used. The most important criteria that affects the success of an IVF cycles is the selection of the best embriyo. The embriyos that will be transferred are selected upon their mophology and maturity of the culture. To determine the maturity of the embriyos and differences between the other embriyos critical time points should be observed.25th hour after insemination or microinjection is used as critical time point. The embriyo cleaved into 2 cell in 25th hour called as early cleaved embriyo. Researchs shows that early cleavage embriyos have higher pregnancy and implantation potential.In our research, selection period of the best embriyo that will be transferred, affects on ICSI paremeters of early cleavage after 25-27 hours from ICSI. 202 patients are divided into 2 groups as early cleavage and non early cleavage. The first group constituted 109 patients which transfered at least 1 early cleavage embriyo; the second group constituted 93 patients which transferred non early cleavage embriyo. There were no significant difference on age, mature oocyte, fertilized oocyte, embriyo and number of embriyo transferred between two groups.As a result of the research, affects of early cleaved embriyos on ICSI paremeters, derivation embriyos, evolution and quality of the embriyos are evaluated. There were no significant difference on providing embriyos between early cleaved and non early cleaved embriyos. Evolution and the quality of the embriyo found in early cleaved embriyos is significantly higher than non early cleaved embriyos. Pregnancy rate is %72.5in the first group and %31.2 in the second group. Pregnancy rate on patients which transferred with early cleaved embriyos is significantly higher.According to these outputs, in selection of embriyo transferred, first cleavege time of the fertilized oocyte shall be evaluated as an important criteria.
