Abstract (EN)

In this study, the biography of es-Semîn el-Halebî is analyzed, his work titled ed-Durru'l-masûn is introduced and discussions on the marfû'ât issues in this work are determined and evaluated. al-Halabi is an distinguished scholar in mostly languages science. He was born in Aleppo, then settled in Egypt, and stayed there until the end of life. His work named ed-Durru'l-masûn is a commentary explaining the Qur'anic verses in terms of morphology, grammar, lexicography and eloquence sciences. Besides these sciences, the work also contains important descriptions in the sources of recitation and dialects. The works such as el-Bahru'l-muhît, el-Keşşâf, el-Muharraru'l-vecîz and el-İmlâ are among resources he most benefited. In the ed-Durru'l-masûn, statement regarding scientific grammar are located intensely than other sciences. The author refers to the many controversial issues while making explanations related to this science. In these discussions, the author brings together different views, passes them through a criticism filter and states his preference. He applies to the sama' and comparison to support his preferences. He usually prefers Basra school and views of consensus, the views that he consents Kufe School are in minority.
