Abstract (EN)

This study aims to criticize the impact of modern subjectivity on ethics by focusing on hermeneutic ethics. To better understand hermeneutic methodology as an ethical argumentation approach, the thesis first explores various ethical argumentation methods and then delves into the historical development of ethics. The traces and critiques of the ethical practice derives from the modern understating of the individual's interpretation of everything from their own standpoint are evaluated from a hermeneutic perspective, particularly drawing on Hans-Georg Gadamer's thoughts. Ultimately, in light of all this information, the thesis discusses the moral dimension of the relationship between humans and all other entities beyond themselves, emphasizing how the interaction between the self and the other should be. This thesis criticizes the traces of modern subject understanding in ethics on the basis of hermeneutic ethics. Descartes' subject-centered approach is criticized from a hermeneutical point of view, while a new perspective on the moral relationship between the human and the other is presented from a Gadamerian perspective.
