Investigation of the relationship between marriage and maritality in childhood trauma

The aim of this research is to investigate the relationship between childhood traumatic life events and marital adjustment and to investigate whether the effects of childhood traumatic life events are on marital adjustment and quality of life. In March-June 2018, 165 married individuals were randomly selected from 97 women and 68 men. Participants participated in the research, voluntarily on the merits, if they were informed about the work and accepted. The statistical analysis of the data obtained in the study was done using the Statistical Package for Social Societies (SPSS) 22.0 program, in order to collect the data, BGOF, Sociodemographic Data Form, Childhood Mental Trauma, Descriptive statistical methods (number, percentage, mean, standard deviation) were used in the evaluation of the data.To determine whether the scores of Childhood Mental Trauma (PCS) and Marriage Compliance Scale (EUS) were normal distribution, Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was performed and it was found that the scales were normal distribution.The difference between the two groups in the comparison of the qualitative data was t-test and in the case of more than two groups, ANOVA test was used in comparison.Mann Whitney U test was performed to determine the difference between the significant findings in the ANOVA test. Emotional neglect is more in the family of the child. On the other hand, trainees scores of the participants with the highest scores of compliance scores of the high school graduates were the highest in the Education Scale of Compliance Scale for Attendees and Trauma Scale scores. Trauma scale scores of the primary school graduates were the highest. The scores of the parents with the worst economic level were highest, the highest. It can be said that marital adjustment decreased as the scores of participants' childhood trauma scale increased. Taking the coefficient of determination into account, it can be said that 12% of the total variance (variability) in marriage adjustment is due to childhood trauma. According to the results of the survey, it was found that married couples had a moderate, positive and meaningful relationship between marital agreements and relationship style scale scores.
