Examination of Ferit Edgü's prose in terms of content

This study, which is named as "Examination of Ferit Edgü's Prose in Terms of Content", is a study that examines twenty-one works of Ferit Edgü, written between 1978-2021, in terms of their content. The texts were classified by considering the interpretation, explanation and classification methods for the content. Edgü developed the act of writing as a resistance to his life. In his prose, where he minimizes the difference between looking at a picture and reading a text, Edgü determines his words by making use of literary and visual possibilities in his prose written for the purposes of remembering, criticizing and evaluating. Edgü's sympathy and sympathy for the creators of the literary and visual fields enabled him to be positioned as an interdisciplinary writer in his prose. Using the power of images when he cannot find the words, Edgü's prose is the criterion of his sensitivity. For Edgü to write a text, an artist, a story, a novel, an image, color, form, eccentricity and awareness were sufficient. In his prose, Edgü prefers to tell a lot with few words by adopting literary concretization and a plain style. In this study, in which inferences are made about the characteristic features of Edgü's prose, the evaluation made on Edgü is that the defining identity of his prose writing has a multicultural background, which writes and draws on an inter-artistic level. Edgü is a creator who has remained unique with his non-individualism and literary attitude. Writing is an imaginary act in Edgü. In his texts, which he translated the reality of the event into a dream with an act of language and image, he adhered to his literary line, his own style and style, transformed the act of writing into an act of living, and assumed the identity of a writer who works between arts when it comes to his prose.
