Abstract (EN)

In our study, we aimed to examine low back pain that causes disability, job loss and high medical expenses in our country and in the world. It is obvious that there are a lot of disabled individuals and families in our country. For this reason, it is thought that the incidence of low back pain is high in parents with disabilities due to constant exposure to physical stress. The frequency of pain, the degree and speed of pain recovery, and the effect of low back pain on daily life activities and functional life were examined through a questionnaire for parents with disabled parents who we think to have high low back pain prevalence and healthy children in the same age group. As a result of these, it was found that the amount of exposure in parents with disabled children was higher than parents with healthy children in terms of instant pain, the frequency of pain, the degree and speed of pain recovery, and the effect of low back pain on daily life activities and functional life.
