Abstract (EN)

This study examines the concept of "heart" and it's relative usages in Fuzuli's Turkish Divan. The graps demonstrating the frequencies of the usage of heart and related concepts according to types are presented at the beginning of the study. The introduction part presents detailed information about life, literature approach and examples from the art of poet Fuzuli. In the second part some of the resources used were introduced. In the third part used materials and methods were specified. In the fourth part two gazel type poems of Fuzuli rhymed "heart" were analyzed in detail. Then, heart and related concepts were alphabetically listed and analyzed over examples extracted from Fuzuli's Divan. The final part of the study makes conclusions about the literature style and sufistic aspect of Fuzuli based on the aforementioned analyses. Key words: Fuzuli, heart, bosom, soul, mirror
