Abstract (EN)
In this study, culture tourism has been taken in hand as a touristik product and cultural tourism potential of Gaziantep has been researched. In the study, condition of cultural heritage of Gaziantep possess in the history and at the present has been investigated and emphasized on topics to improve tourism. The aim of dealing with the tourism potential of Gaziantep is to investigate how cultural tourism affected economy of the region and social life of the native people. In order to obtain permenance of cultural values which the city have what kind of studies have been done are investigated. Also positive and negative points of these studies are evaluated in a critical point of view. In terms of these studies, it is observed that cultural tourism was distinguished a considerable importance to Gaziantep. Study has been developed from compilation made from source people and written source scanning, and formed taking into consideration of the need that traditional items' prevention should be by letting it live but not hiding.Key Words: Gaziantep, cultural tourism, intangible cultural heritage, folklore
