Abstract (EN)
Object: Providing management of diabetes, detecting their fatigue and assesement of life quality of women with GDM have great importance for health care providers and midwifes. In this study its aimed to examine the effect of fatigue of women with GDM to their life quality. Material and Method: This resarch is conducted between March 2015 – September 2015after obtaining the necessary regultory approvals from related institution, with 148 women with gestational diabeteswho were chosen by randomize sampling that given information and given approval which were applied to Policlinic of Internal Diseases and of Gynaecology of Turgutlu State Hospital that is attached to General Secretary of Manisa County Public Hospital Association of Turkey Public Hospital Institution of T.R. Ministry of Health. A form that prepared in the direction of literature which consists of 26 questions;likert style "fatigue intensify scale" which consists of 9 question; and likert style "fatigue impact scale" which consists of 40 question and ''EUROHIS-QOL – World Health Organisation Survey for Life Quality" that consists of likert scale 8 article to assess life qualityapplied as data collection tools for obtain socio-demografical informations. SPSS 15.00 for Windows program is applied for analyzing data. Corelasion, ANOVA, Independite Simple T Test, Mann Whitney U, Kruskal Wallis Tests were applied for assessing data. Findings:Average age of women with GDM who involved research is calculated as 30,30 ±4,84 (min:19, max:39) 46,1 % of women are primary school graduated, % 83,8 of women are unemployed. Family of 50,0 % of them have diabetes history, 5,0 % of them have pre-pregnancy diabetes. Result:In this study it's detected that Fatigue and Life Quality have negative and significant relationship on women with Gestational Diabetes Mellitus. Life quality decreases by increasing fatigue on women with GDM.
